* * * Not only part restaurant, part chuck wagon, part museum, but also fully entertaining, fully enjoyable, and fully enchanting. We use HWY 39 every time we find ourselves cutting through NM for any reason... three trips so far. Probably one more or two more stops coming up at the end of this month. We love Mosquero... * * * Until that time. . .

This is a must stop if you are anywhere close to the area. The atmosphere takes you back with its black and white photos and fried pies. They typically have a daily special, like Smoked Brisket or Pulled Pork but we sure love the Green Chile Cheese Burger with Bacon. They have very good Green Chile... it’s got a great bite of heat that keeps you coming back for more. My favorite fried pie is the pecan, and their peanut butter cookies are the BEST I’ve ever had!!! Such a friendly waitstaff & the best homemade chips & salsa this side of Santa Fe!!

What a wonderful little restaurant in a small and beautiful New Mexico town. Im always in favor of a very open and spacious seating environment, and this place is perfect in that measure. The green Chile cheeseburgers we ate were excellent. I believe the proprietor seated us and took our order, when we ordered smothered burriros she apologized and said she was out of red chile. No worries, we'll be back, so stock up on red!

Called ahead for a to-go order as we passed through on our way back to Texas. We had the green chili cheeseburgers with regular fries and spiral fries and they were fantastic. We also grabbed a fried apple pie for desert and it too was delicious. If we are in the area again we’ll definitely stop by!

Didn't expect to find a place to eat a late lunch. Fantastic green chili cheese burger, fresh ribbon fries, iced tea. Friendly, prompt service. Burger was very nicely cooked, food was fresh. Definitely would enjoy a meal here again!

This place is finally opened again! But only on Fridays for now. They have honest normal american food. The pulled pork is the best everything else is just fine. They have great brownies. And it feels good to throw our support to a nice family owned businesses with good people running it. We are so glad they are finally back! We have been wishing they were open for nearly a year!
